Meet the Chef

Executive Chef Michael Miller is a 27-year veteran of the culinary industry. Chef Miller honed his skills in some of Cleveland’s most respected and celebrated restaurants including Johnny’s Bar, Morton’s The Steakhouse, Blue Point Grille and M Bistro in Westlake. Prior to joining Veranda Bistro & Bar, he served as the Executive Chef for the Horseshoe Casino. Since he was 16 years old, Chef Miller’s true passion has been to be in the kitchen. His dedication to high-quality ingredients, a made-from-scratch process and innovative twists on traditional American fare is the driving force behind Veranda.

Meet the Managing Partner

Matt was born and raised in the close-knit community of Bay Village.  He values and understands the importance of family, community and supporting locally-owned businesses.  Matt’s passion has always been the hospitality industry. At 15 years old his first position at Brio Tuscan Grille taught him valuable lessons in teamwork and instilled the importance of ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

His warm and welcoming personality, commitment to exceptional service and Veranda’s strong service team continues to enhance the dining experience for every guest.

 There are many folks who visit once and then become a beloved member of the Veranda family. They continue to enjoy the service, the cozy fireplace in our dining room in the winter and our fabulous patio in the summer.
